⏱ Turnaround Times

We always notify you if anything will delay your shipment. Notification emails follow a structured format you can easily set filters for in your email client.

Add-On Costs & Supplies

Most of our FBA Prep pricing is all-included—but there are a few cases where additional costs may apply. We keep these transparent and fair:

📦 Boxes

• We reuse clean shipping boxes from your incoming inventory when possible at no charge.
• We maintain a supply of recycled boxes that can be used for outbound shipments at a flat rate of $1.99 each.
• If neither is available or appropriate, we purchase new boxes and bill them to you at market rate.

Pallets

💡 Tip: Not sure whether to ship on pallets? Just ask—we’ll walk you through what Amazon prefers and what’s most cost-effective for you.

🔐 Optional Add-On: Serial Number Tracking & Unit-Level Traceability

Want stronger protection against return fraud or unauthorized resellers?

As part of our background in returns management, we offer advanced tracking options:

• Serial Number Logging:
  We record the serial number of each unit during prep and store it in our system. If a return or issue comes up later, we can verify whether it’s the exact item we prepped, even tracing all the way back to which package we received in, and who touched it.
• Custom Labeling:
  For products that don’t have built-in serials, we can apply unique tracking codes or serialized labels—so every unit is traceable, even across multiple fulfillment cycles. Our serial labels comply with Amazon’s requirements, and do not need to be covered during prep.

This service is ideal for:

• Private label brands concerned about unauthorized resellers
• Electronics, medical, and industrial goods
• High-value items with elevated return abuse risk

🔍 Most prep centers can’t or won’t do this. If traceability matters to your brand, we’ve got you covered.

📦 Storage Policy

📝 Note: Storage rates and policies listed below apply specifically to inventory handled as part of our FBA Prep services. Storage for other services—such as fulfillment, returns management, or forwarding—may be billed differently. If you’re using multiple services, we’ll provide a clear breakdown during onboarding.

We charge storage fees only when inventory remains in our facility for more than 30 days.

Storage Billing Timing:

• Storage is billed on the 1st of each month for any inventory that has been in the warehouse more than 30 days at that time.
• If your inventory arrives and ships out within the same month, you are not charged for storage.
• Inventory stored over 90 days is subject to an extra $1.00 per cubic foot surcharge.

🧠 Tip: If you’re planning to store inventory long term or drip-feed inventory to Amazon, let us know so we can help you choose the most cost-effective storage solution.

📦 Pallets Without a Plan

To keep prep areas clear and maintain fast turnaround for all customers, we apply the following policy for idle or obstructive pallet shipments:

• Inbound pallets with no clear instructions or delayed communication may be moved to overflow storage and charged $5 per pallet per day after 5 business days.
• Outbound pallets waiting for pickup more than 5 business days may also incur $5/day unless a pickup schedule is confirmed and followed.
• After 30 days, pallet storage will be billed at our normal $40/month per pallet rate (or prorated if already accruing daily surcharges).

This policy ensures that your shipments—and everyone else’s—move efficiently through the warehouse. If you need help planning or coordinating, just let us know.

🌐 Customer Portal Access

Every prep customer gets access to our secure web portal, where you can:

1. 📝 Submit and manage prep orders
2. 📦 Track receiving, prep progress, and shipments
3. 📊 Monitor on-hand inventory or create shipments directly to customers (subject to fulfillment pricing)
4. 💳 View and pay invoices
5. 🧾 Review past orders and documentation
6. 🔄 Access other services like returns management, forwarding, and storage
