Facebook is Down
Just letting everyone know Facebook, Whatsapp, and Instagram are down right now. I know a lot of our customers and workforce use these apps to communicate.
We’re aware that some people are having trouble accessing Facebook app. We’re working to get things back to normal as quickly as possible, and we apologize for any inconvenience.

What’s going on?
It seems like the DNS A and AAA records for their domains are down. That’s a very weird problem to have that’s unlikely to be a technical glitch. DNS A records are kind of like the phone book for how computers talk to each other. For the record to be missing for a company the size of Facebook, there could be something pretty serious going on over there.
What should we do about it?
For those customers who often use WhatsApp to communicate with us, please get Signal. It works pretty much the same way. It’s a good idea to have incase this issue persists or something like it happens again in the future.
The security features it has appear more robust than WhatsApp, so in the interest of protecting our communications, we think you should use Signal anyway.
